Hello everyone, I own an old Asus Rampage Formula iii with an i7-950. I discovered a Xeon X5675 for just 30 euros—do you think it fits my system? And would upgrading the CPU be a good idea? Thanks!

It should work well. It could be a good upgrade, though I’m not sure. What will you do with it? Anything on the x58 is essentially beyond functional even under heavy stress, and those CPUs don’t support all necessary instructions. If I were you, I’d sell it since it still has value today.
