I'm experiencing problems where games freeze or stutter every time I connect any Xbox controller via USB to my PC, along with strange clicking or buzzing sounds coming from the computer. When not plugged in, everything runs smoothly without any noises. I've spent all day trying to figure this out and hope someone can help. Thank you!

I've checked every USB port on my PC and none are causing problems, nothing unusual about the noise or performance.

works fine on another computer, I don't think the problem is with the controller since I've tested three different ones, even a 360 Controller. I'm not sure what's going on. I tried uninstalling the device in Device Manager and restarting the PC, then reinstalling the driver. Still not clear.

Do you have alternative USB devices available, and could they lead to issues? What occurs when you utilize your computer to power a mobile phone via USB?

It seems quite unusual. You might want to remove the drivers for the controllers and then have Windows reinstall them.
