Do you have any information about the wires in a 4-pin fan connector or what each one does? I'm trying to understand which is positive, which is negative and which is neutral. I couldn't find this details online.

Hello there! Based on what I understand, red is positive and white is negative. Regarding your question about using a fan from a 13-year-old PSU, feel free to ask more details!

You understand by checking the ripples, as they often point to problems with old PSUs.

From another ADDA supporter (PWM, brushless) the wiring details are provided: UL 1061, AWG26, L = 320 ± 10 mm. Red indicates positive, black negative. White for ground, blue for PWM. FG connects to Frequency Generator (also known as Tach). Link included.

For those who might follow: operating within a PSU poses serious risks. This isn't a task for ordinary users.
