New keyboard featuring numerous USB 3 ports, troubleshooting mouse and keyboard stuttering. Testing if performance improves when USB 3 is connected to a USB 2 port. Internet research indicates interference between USB 3 slots and 2.4 GHz wireless devices.

It looks like I fixed the issue by installing a USB hub, which brought the Logitech unifying receiver nearer to my mouse or keyboard and farther from the USB ports. I didn’t have this problem before, which was unusual.
