Question About unusual GPU and CPU usage during gaming on a laptop?
When I run GTA V the GPU works at full capacity as it used to, but the CPU stays around 50, 60 and sometimes drops to 20 or 30. The frames per second are very low, around 19 to 35 even when using the lowest graphics settings at 1080p (Hitman occasionally dropped frames but mostly stayed above 30 fps). When playing Hitman 2 my GPU isn’t used at all and everything runs on the integrated GPU while the CPU remains at the same level of use as before. About six months ago I could maintain over 30 fps in 1080p continuously. Also, the CPU gets much hotter than usual—now it reaches 81-85°C, whereas earlier it never exceeded 75°C. Please help.
