I'm experiencing an issue with my PotPlayer media player after relocating. I removed my graphics card and cooler during the move, and after reassembling the computer, the app stopped functioning properly. It starts slowly, lacks audio, and video freezes after roughly 20 seconds. The audio works in other applications, but videos play fine in VLC and Windows Media Player. I've tried reinstalling PotPlayer and its codecs without success. What might be causing this problem?

Have you considered changing the position of your GPU? You might also want to re-seat your RAM during the process.

I just tried both options again. No success. The issue remains unchanged.

If PotPlayer fails, check Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer. These tools might record any error codes, warnings, or informational events that occurred prior to or during the failures.

If it functioned before the relocation and ceased after the move—especially given the hardware likely experienced shaking, vibration, along with the removal of the GPU and cooler—I believe a hardware problem is more probable than a software issue.
The concern lies in the audio behavior; it remains consistent across other applications. Perhaps adjusting the sound ports slightly and inspecting for loose connections could help identify the cause.
