I bought the KAMRUI AK1PLUS Mini PC with Intel Alder Lake N97 recently to connect it to a home entertainment center. I'm sending photos as a slideshow using JRiver. After about an hour the Wi-Fi adapter stops working and doesn't reconnect until I restart the PC. It's not a major issue but bothers me. I've checked the adapter settings and changed the power level so Windows doesn't shut it down. I also switched from Wi-Fi 6 to Wi-Fi 5.

So, if it is heat, which makes sense to me, there really isn't anything to be done, is there? Would going to 2g make a difference?

I wonder if using 2.4g would reduce the workload for the wifi adapter. There appears to be an error in the event log, specifically Event 34, indicating a power management issue with the processor.

Test it and observe. It should not affect its functionality, though the network adapter might run cooler.
