Looking for affordable options to purchase the game. The most budget-friendly set typically includes essential components like a properly configured PC, a reliable gaming monitor, and sufficient storage. Ensure your system meets the minimum requirements for smooth performance without overspending.

The obvious choice is a mouse and keyboard, and the most affordable way to get the game is through the cheapest package. Using a referral code gives extra in-game currency, which is helpful, but the lowest amount you need to spend is around $54.

well, you missed the anniversary sale last month where you could get a Star Citizen starter package for 35 USD, but there will also be the holiday sale this Friday. If you're lucky they'll put out another batch of cheap packages, but you'll have to act quick as those are usually sold out within minutes. Also be aware that putting it in the cart does not reserve it for you. This is only valid for Star Citizen (MMO), I do not recall them reducing the Squadron 42 pre-order (singleplayer). If you want both you can get SQ42 as a 15 USD add on to you Star Citizen package, however for some reason those are not publicly in the store. Costumer service might help you here. Other than that you can get a referral code from here and have a little extra money at game start: and if you fell like spending more money you can refer to gyre-teanns guide:

You have two options for packages. One set costs 45 dollars and includes Star Citizen, the main universe game: Mustang-Alpha SC Starter and Aurora MR SC Starter. The other costs 60 dollars and also adds Squadron 42 and the single-player game. When the new release happens, you can find them here: Mustang-Alpha-Star-Citizen-Squadron-42-Combo and Aurora-MR-Star-Citizen-Squadron-42-Combo.

I’d prefer to wait for the holiday discount, though in the past they sent Squadron 42 with Star Citizen—it’s a real loss that they dropped that…

Wait for sales, but you can purchase the Squadron 42 package for as low as $45 currently. Remember this does not cover Star Citizen, the online component of the game. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledg...one-Pledge If you also need SC, you can get it for $60. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledg...n-42-Combo Nonetheless, prices tend to drop during sales. I've noticed the S42 previously sold for around $25.
