I've reviewed the latest videos on RAM performance with the new 5000 series. I own a 3600mhz CAS 14-15-15-35 kit with 8GB of single rank memory. Most benchmarks show 3200mhz performs slightly better than 3600mhz because the memory controller works harder to reach those higher speeds, which can slow the CPU clock. This might explain why some tests lag behind at 3600mhz. Should I consider downclocking my RAM to 3200mhz? It’s already running at 1.4525v, and my 5600x is still improving. I plan to compare 3200/3600 at lower clocks and see what works best.
