I have a Ryzen 5500 and I'm turning on auto OC in BIOS at 200MHz while using the Ryzen Master per-core curve optimizer, but it's not working well. The BIOS settings show PBO limiting the motherboard, Scaler Auto.

Do not rely on BIOS auto OC options. Simply activate PBO in advanced mode and begin with an all-core curver optimizer setting at -10 or -12 as the starting point. Add an extra boost clock of around +50Mhz. You may increase it further to +200, but be aware it could negatively impact performance by accelerating core heating and causing earlier clock pulls. The same applies to Scalar settings—avoid excessively high values; a maximum of 6x or 7x is recommended for stability. Adjusting per-core CO values requires significant time and thorough testing to ensure reliability.
