Question about Ryzen 4350G or Ryzen 2400G
Question about Ryzen 4350G or Ryzen 2400G
I am considering two options: a Lenovo M725s Ryzen 5 Pro 2400G or an HP Elitedesk 805 G6 Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G.
My main use will be browsing the internet and light gaming.
Which one should I choose?
I’ve seen many mixed opinions, with some saying the 2400G is superior and others claiming the 4350G is better.
Both models are similar in size and cost, both come with 256GB NVMe storage and 8GB RAM.
This refers to playing games with minimal resources or effort, such as casual or simple gameplay.
I enjoy light gaming, such as playing Grand Theft Auto 5 and Diablo 2 Resurrected, or older titles. I avoid more intense games like Cyberpunk or Starfield.
i own a ryzen 4600g and 2200g. i haven’t run into any problems with windows 11 on the 2200g paired with a b550 board, just ensure all required drivers are installed, especially the graphics ones. there’s a significant gap in performance between gaming on r3 versus r5. i’d prefer at least a 3400g or 4600g if possible. if those are the only options available, i’d choose the 2400g for a smoother gaming experience, as long as you upgrade its ram to 16gb or more.
if you don’t mind me asking, what’s the price of these models? building one from scratch using old parts could be more affordable, and you’d have the freedom to select your own cpu or apu.
