Hi,
I own a PC equipped with a Ryzen 3700x and a Soyo b450m motherboard. The latter performed well with the Ryzen 5 2600, but after purchasing the 3700x it caused issues in the first RAM slot (only two slots available). When I inserted my RAM stick, the computer failed to initialize and just spun the fans. The second slot worked fine. I previously had a CPU with damaged VSS pins (confirmed via pinout reference), but replacing them didn’t resolve the problem. I also owned a motherboard with a b550 chipset that had the same issue, so it seems the problem lies with the CPU itself. I’ve experimented with adjusting RAM settings in BIOS and voltages, but without sufficient expertise it’s unclear what else to try. What steps could I take next?
I have a setup with the Ryzen 5 7500f, but due to the recent increase in RAM prices I'm limited to 3700x. I'm curious what others here might suggest or offer, especially since someone with a similar CPU issue could share their experience.

The only feasible choice is to stick with a single channel or switch the CPU.
There’s no way to reprogram the CPU or adjust its operation, and altering the BIOS won’t fix the problem.
Although CPUs have some built-in redundancy, it appears yours is affected so one memory channel isn’t working.
Repairing the soldered pins won’t fix the core damage.

you have misidentified cpu pinout and
have not properly fixed missing pins.
Other possible option is - cpu memory controller has been damaged in some way (overclocking, excessive voltages),
that only single memory channel is operational.
There's no fix in this situation.
