I own a mag b460m bazooka with an intel 10th gen chip that previously had a gtx 1650. I'm planning to upgrade to a rtx 5060 non ti and need to check if the mb and GPU are compatible. Additionally, I have the latest bios for my mb A7, which is "name". I don't mind if the PCI is slower as it might affect performance; just want to confirm if it works on the b460. Thanks for your help, especially since MSI mentioned it "works in theory" earlier.

Do you possess an appropriate power source with the correct wattage and connectors for the card and the area within the case?

I'm sure so far, yes—I've received a 700-watt Redragon PSU with a 6+2 connector.

If anyone else has the same concern, I spoke with Nvidia customer support via live chat, and they confirmed compatibility. I'll verify once I make the purchase.

It should function, though likely not perfectly. Larger options like 12 gb or higher would be preferable. 5060 xt and 16gb or 7600 xt are solid choices.

It would work seamlessly as long as the motherboard includes a minimum of one PCIe x16 port and the UEFI BIOS is up to date.
