The differences lie mainly in the GPU—3060 6GB or 3070 8GB—both with 115W and 130W power consumption and dynamic boost capabilities. The screens are identical: 1920x1080 IPS, 100% SRGB, 300Hz refresh rate. RAM is 32GB DDR4 at 3200Mhz. The Zephyrus Duo is 40 dollars cheaper in my country. You plan to use it for Photoshop, Premiere, C++, Python, Blender, Autodesk programs, and occasionally games, especially triple-A titles. You intend to use it for about five years. Since you’ll be using it at college, a PC isn’t ideal. What should you choose and why? You need a solid reason to buy one of these, because this isn’t an inexpensive purchase. I’m really confused here :/

You may want to consult Jarrod from Tech YouTuber, as he is a trusted source for laptop reviews. If the RTX 3060 6GB model is more affordable than the 3070 8GB variant, proceed with it.

When purchasing a laptop, several factors should be taken into account:

1. Thermal management – It plays a crucial role in performance. Verify if the specific model throttles under load; otherwise, CPU boosts won’t last long. You can address this by lowering the voltage (undervolting) without harming the CPU or improving temperatures during heavy use.
2. Battery endurance – Since you plan to edit on the go, consider the battery life.
3. RAM configuration – Ensure the laptop includes dual-channel memory for better performance compared to single-channel.
4. Upgrade accessibility – While upgrades aren’t extensive, checking for options like SSD storage, RAM expansion, or higher-capacity batteries can extend device lifespan.
5. Screen quality – Accurate color reproduction is essential for editing tasks.

For detailed laptop reviews, consider visiting Notebookcheck.net or Ultrabookreviews. For expert opinions, check platforms featuring Jarrod’s Tech, Dave2D, Linus, Gamers Nexus, and similar channels.
