Question about replacing the Xtrfy MZ1 Gaming Mouse?
Hello everyone! I shared the same question on /r/MouseReview, but I’d love to hear your feedback as well. They suggest the X2V2.
My MZ1 began showing issues where the RMB becomes sticky when pushed hard. I’ve found some tips for fixing it, but I also wanted to explore a possible alternative.
The MZ1 is likely my top mouse ever, though it isn’t flawless. Its ultra-low profile suits my fingertip/claw grip well, but it’s too narrow for my liking, causing control problems during quick movements. I’ve tried adding grip tape, but it peeled off in summer, possibly due to the shell holes and cracking plastic from the pressure.
Looking at current market trends, I noticed that compared to 2022, there are now many lighter mice with better internal quality and full shells without holes—plus they’re more affordable. It’s interesting how much cheaper you can get now. Curiously, the MZ1 I bought for $90 two years ago is now selling for $130 (shock!).
I’d really appreciate your thoughts on this. Below are some details.
