I bought a used PC and I'm looking to upgrade the RAM to 16GB, as there is currently only one 8GB stick. Looking inside, it looks like the stick in there was actually taken off of a Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 2x8GB kit. Will it be okay if I buy a CMK8GX4M1D3000C16 stick considering the different CAS timings and the different model numbers? Or should I look to buy a 2x8GB kit and sell the stick that is currently in my PC? Thanks!
