Good evening everyone. I have a query about the RAM I just bought. It’s a Corsair DDR4 Dominator Platinum 64GB C16. I know it might not hit full speeds because the slots are fully filled. I’ve adjusted the XMP settings and noticed slightly better performance without them. At the time, I checked CPUZ and saw some details about voltage and speed differences—was that typical? I purchased this as a new kit, so everything should be in good condition. My current configuration will be shared soon since it’s been a while. I’m using an x570 MSI UNIFY 64 GB C16 DDR4 Corsair Dominator Platinum Dual Channel (four sticks, 16GB each), paired with a Ryzen 7 5800X and NVIDIA 3070. All drivers are up to date, the latest BIOS is installed, and I’m running the newest version of Windows. Can you suggest setting all voltages to 1.35?
Thaiphoon burner screenshot? If it's dual rank per 16GB stick, you're at quad rank—impressive if you can even hit 3600 on such a low spec. Microns being light on the IMC really helps. If they're single-rank sticks, that's 16Gb rev B; dual are 8Gb rev E.

It's normal. The JEDEC profile is set at 1.2V, while the 1.35V configuration supports the XMP standard. Most DDR4 kits include 1.2V to meet that requirement. Unofficially, Micron Rev. E offers good tolerance, so 1.5V would also work. However, you might run into controller problems instead of memory issues if XMP isn't activated. This particular kit is dual-rank per DIMM, allowing up to quad rank. With quad rank memory, the Zen controller usually caps around ~3466MT/s. You could test raising the SOC voltage to 1.15V; that might help the controller recognize XMP. Otherwise, just enable XMP and lower the frequency to about 3466MT/s for better performance.
If you believe the change won’t make much of a difference, I can easily reach 3466 with short timings. It might perform similarly. I’m coming from a 32 gig 3200 c16 model. I wasn’t expecting a big gap, but seeing it on sale made me act quickly so my son could get the 32 gig configuration.
The difference between 3466MT/s and 3600MT/s under similar conditions is minimal, especially when using XMP settings. Running at tighter intervals would make the 3466MT/s option quicker than the 3600MT/s CL16 XMP version.
