Hey, I experienced a problem with my computer after accidentally hitting it with my leg. I cut a bit of the RAM PCB to make room for the case fan, which caused the board to loosen. The graphics card power light works fine and the power supply seems okay. The main concern is whether the RAM stick or the motherboard could fail from this incident. Hardware details: Gigabyte H110M 8GB Crucial.

Yea, it doesn't turn on without the RAM in it, I've tried. Well the thing is my motherboard does not have a post code to display on the motherboard itself to show any errors like that... So, chances are the motherboard might still be okay. So i'll consider buying a cheap RAM stick for testing for the time being. If there was a way to confirm either the motherboard or RAM works without buying replacement parts to test then that would be huge. Although I'm guessing there isn't a way sadly

Initially assumed the power supply unit failed, which might have caused everything to stop, so I checked it and confirmed it wasn’t spinning, leading me to replace it. Now I’m unsure which part is truly malfunctioning.
We understand the PSU is working well. The graphics card is probably okay too. SSD and HDD should remain unaffected. The next step would be installing a new DDR4 RAM stick and checking system behavior. If it boots up successfully, that's good. If not, investigate whether the issue lies with the motherboard or CPU.
