PNY stated they haven’t encountered any comparable reports and currently lack internal cards with this issue. They suggested returning the card for repair but declined because it didn’t appear to be a major concern. I would have accepted the return if offered, but since you mentioned not having OCD or being bothered by it, it’s probably not necessary. Reminded me to avoid disassembling the card—my three-year warranty stays active if problems develop later. That’s really wise advice!

I refused the RMA since the card remains fully operational, and my PC would be offline for an unknown period without a GPU while they investigate. I use a KF model CPU, which means no built-in graphics. They aren’t offering a replacement and expect me to send this one back. That seems typical, though—it really depends on the vendor. With Ubiquiti and UniFi equipment, they usually provide a replacement first before allowing returns.
