I just purchased a PCIE controller with USB 3.0 and SATA 6GB/6GBE ports on an ASUS P7P55M motherboard. The USB output usually shows 5GB/s, but the SATA ports only display 2.5GB/s, which is half of that. I also experience blue screens sometimes. Is there an explanation for this?

Can you post the link to the product that you bought?
I have two PCI-E to USB 3.0 cards that stopped working after the latest Win10 updates.
It seems that there is a problem with the Renesas controller while using Win10's built-in drivers.

The link is fine, though USB works well while SATA operates at half speed from the start of installation.
