Hello everyone,
I wanted to ask if the MICROSOFT EDGE account is the same as the regular Microsoft account or if they are completely different. I checked and my Microsoft account was deleted, showing up as not found when I entered my email. My email appears in the list of accounts for Microsoft Edge, but I’m unsure whether it’s the same account as my PC one. It seems likely it’s still listed because it shares the same email address, though the account is no longer active.

There is no website involved. Edge lets you use your personal profile for logging in so data stays synchronized. I was thinking about that profile.

Edge profile appears connected to a Microsoft account. You have the option to create several Edge profiles, each associated with a distinct Microsoft account.

If your Microsoft account has been removed, you won't be able to log in. There isn't a separate Edge profile, but the account itself is what's responsible.

I believe the edge profile is intended for syncing your Edge settings and bookmarks. It is connected to a Microsoft account. If you remove or close your Microsoft account, the link between the edge profile and your account will be broken. You should likely no longer be able to sync the edge profile across devices.
