Question about memory optimization techniques
You're seeing two XMP profiles in your BIOS, but they behave similarly. This can happen if the system defaults to both or if the profiles are not properly configured. The difference between them might be minor, so testing with one profile first could help determine which works best for your GPU and workload.
Typically, boards support multiple XMP profiles if available. Timing values in sub-timings 2 and 3 can vary. Proprietary settings might match exactly. Variations depend on how the board and imc handle each profile. I’ve created several OCs by disabling XMP and manually setting memory frequencies with auto timings. Surprisingly, some boards actually find better timing at specific frequencies—usually looser than the XMP profile but allowing higher overclock limits.
