Yes, it is feasible to use Windows 10 with Boot Camp on an external hard drive to free up internal storage.

It seems you're asking about the MacBook model you own. Could you clarify which one you're referring to?

I agree. Look for tutorials on YouTube about setting up Windows 10 on external SSDs for MacBooks.

You're unable to proceed. Windows requires external installation, while OS X works best on external drives.

Technically undermining the EULA seems possible.

I'm not sure. I understand individuals inside Apple who handle this, and the repair centers also do it. You're still using it on Mac systems.

You should plan for around 60 gigabytes of space for Windows 10. Your remaining 249 GB on the internal drive should cover this, and using VMware Fusion might be a smarter choice than reducing storage.

The target is 60 GB to allow for future updates and applications. What are you focusing on during the bootcamp? If you need space for programs like Adobe CC or games, let me know!

A bit of casual gaming with classic titles, not the latest big hits. By the way, do you think you could buy Windows 7? I’m thinking about moving into office work and don’t know if any offices run on that version yet.
