Do you know if there are any E types or newer models with a lit keyboard, or any Lenovo laptops without a USB C power jack? Using a USB C connection is the worst option. Please let me know about both questions quickly so I can replace my E15 with something that fits your needs—lit keyboard and no USB-C power supply! Thanks in advance.

This is just an example; please check the linked page.
It will be mentioned whether the backlit feature is optional or not. If it is, then a backlit version of the ThinkPad is available.
Why this question? I suspect you won’t find any Lenovo ThinkPad that matches your current setup with the standard power connector.
I’m planning to upgrade my E15 to a newer model.
Could you share the model or SKU of your device so I can check what you’re using?

I own an E15. The USB-C power connection seems distorted because I have to angle the plug to make it visible for charging on my laptop! They say T models have square or round plugs.
Thanks for the info/reply

The price is going to be quite high, and it will keep increasing.
They say "T" models come with a square or round power adapter!
I don't see that mentioned in the images or specs for this model. It seems the details might have changed after 2024.

The laptop power input jack on this E15 is not delivering the required power to charge the battery. The issue lies because neither the 120V power supply nor the 12V power supply is being recognized by the laptop, even though both 120Vac and 12VDC can charge my USB-C phones! How can I fix this without buying a new laptop?
