Question about Lenovo Legion 5i Pro USBC-PD
Hey everyone. I have a query about the PD over USB-C for the Legion 5iPro (12700/3070ti). I'm using an Anker GAND Prime 120W Block with a 240W USB-C Cable. When connected directly to the laptop, it doesn't charge, but with a USB-C Anker HUB that supports USB-C PD Passthrough up to 100W, it works. Do you think there might be a limit of 100W where the charging stops? I've looked around and seen mentions of a maximum 100W via USB-C PD, but I'm not sure if it's a smart system that still functions with higher output.
Also, I noticed it works perfectly when plugged into the 100W GAND Prime block. I can't find any indication it would stop charging if I used the 120W block instead, though it was cheaper.
Just wanted some advice on this.
*Note - It functions well with the 100W GAND Prime... I haven't found it yet and the 120W version was $30 less, for some reason?*
*Note Note - I haven't tested it with my previous 100W USB-C cable from the new block.*
I also looked into it myself and the link you provided didn't work for me. Thank you. I haven't encountered any problems with the 100W USB Anker Prime adapter or the 100W USB-C/240W USB-C cable. It's strange, but I located my adapter and returned the 120 watts.
