Hi,
My Intel I9-9900K has temperatures that are fine, but I'm curious about the voltages. I've adjusted the Intel Turbo Boost frequency for each core to 5Ghz and managed to get decent voltages and temps, though the CPU still runs at full speed. Is this normal? If not, what should I do? I own a Z390 AORUS MASTER. Thanks!

It operates consistently at 5ghz regardless of idle state, which seems acceptable provided temperatures remain optimal and voltage usage stays reasonable. What is the core voltage when under load? Personally, I wouldn't allow it to run at 5ghz during idle since it would be inefficient and waste energy. Have you adjusted the windows power profile from balanced to high performance? Doing so would compel the CPU to maintain turbo speed continuously. I’d revert it back to balanced if that option is available.

Hi, glad you found the information helpful. Your windows power profile was indeed set to high performance! You're right about that. After switching to balanced, the frequencies improved and the processor only hit 5 GHz under stress conditions. Thanks!
