It's important because clear communication helps avoid misunderstandings. Without a microphone, it's hard to convey your thoughts properly.
You can create your own missions by customizing content and mechanics yourself. There isn’t a built-in system restricting missions to level 12 or higher, so you have the freedom to design them as needed.
Last night I participated in the human labs raid as a level 7 player while I was lev. 7. Everything was okay. We all lost someone when the helicopter was shot down, but we managed to restart at a checkpoint. Also, one of us passed on during the trip to the helicopter due to a car accident.
It makes sense, but it’s rare to see people use voice chat for anything practical. Recently, during a mission we needed a prison bus and everyone drove away—some of us even used my car. I had to steal another vehicle, but I took an alternate route which let me reach the bus sooner. I waited until they arrived, when one of them boarded and suddenly there were all the officers inside. Everyone was packed in, and I was about 50 yards from them, surrounded by police. The whole thing went wrong, the mission failed, and I never heard anyone using voice chat to talk. Was it just my hearing or did something go wrong? It’s really confusing.
Uncertain why I avoid missions with players who don’t use mics. When I begin a lobby, the first person I ask if they have a mic. If nobody replies, I leave. No one communicating means you didn’t succeed. Usually everyone would join the same vehicle—start with the helicopter, then eliminate the driver and take the bus. Only after that would you let go of the police. The simplest option is to hop on the bus to the coast, which is a fairly straightforward mission even on hard difficulty. The challenge is finding people who are open to helping, especially since you lack a mic.
Your webcam includes a microphone, but you should verify whether it interferes with your speakers.
This feature encourages conversation and is worth exploring. It’s a good idea to prevent others from taking your car by pressing “m” to restrict access to only friends or passengers. If you’re not familiar, there’s an option to limit who can use your vehicle. Snacks are essential for health and can be purchased during missions. Taking cover only restores half your health, making snacks crucial. You can also purchase additional armor from Ammu Nation—if you lose it, simply press “m,” go to the armor menu, and replace it with new gear.
