Hello, today I was playing CS:GO and paused my Spotify music. From then on, the game ran at around 1-2 frames per second, occasionally snapping back for a few seconds before dropping again. Once I turned off freesync, these problems vanished completely. After reinstalling the AMD drivers, the issue still persisted. No other games are affected by this.

After confirming your CS:GO installation is verified and there are no issues, the next step seems to be turning off FreeSync specifically for this game. Refer to the AMD support page for instructions on configuring it for individual applications. Keep in mind that FreeSync only works effectively when the game runs below its refresh rate, which doesn’t seem to be an issue with CS:GO on a 6600XT.
