Do you think the pitch works well for these connectors? I'm trying to use them on a trackpad, but whenever I plug them in, the laptop won't start and nothing shows up. Could using the incorrect connectors cause problems when booting a laptop, even if it's just for a trackpad? I have a 4 and 6 pin setup, but I'm not sure if the pitch is correct. The 4 pin is about 1mm and the 6 pin is 0.5mm, right?

The second connector works best, while the first one doesn't.
Certain systems may not start if the keyboard isn't connected.

It seems the ideal connector should be 1mm. I understand the machine will start with or without the keyboard ribbon plugged in, but using the two provided doesn't work. Even testing just one didn't help. If I ensure the correct connectors are used, I should be able to reconnect the trackpad again.

I believe connector 1 has upside-down contacts. Take a photo of the inside of connector 1. There are two types of ribbon cable: type a and type b.

I need to capture another photo of TP-L, though visibility seems a bit poor. It slides in and the clips secure it. The issue is that I’ve discarded the old ribbons, making it hard to compare. >_< I think this one is type A...? Shouldn’t I just insert it upside down...? With these, I placed them facing the blue side up.
