Let me know if that works for you, I'll prepare a write-up of the fix and share it.

Currently, the issue is resolved following a fresh setup of Windows 11. Still, I must verify the configuration to confirm the hard disk remains connected to the ASMedia Controller.

Hi - here is my latest update:
I tested the system for several days and found that my SATA hard disks were connected to the X670E Chipset controller, not the ASMedia one. I corrected this connection and shortly after, I experienced the old Powerstate BSOD errors again. This indicates the issue lies with the ASMedia Controller on the board and possibly its drivers.
At this stage, I followed the recommendation to activate the HIPM setting from the article
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/7297...ndows.html.
After entering the command
REG ADD HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\0012ee47-9041-4b5d-9b77-535fba8b1442\0b2d69d7-a2a1-449c-9680-f91c70521c60 /v Attributes /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
I was surprised to see the setting already enabled, not sure if it was also active before.

It was identical for me on hipm...but the two parts appeared to resolve the problem. Please keep me updated on your system stability. I'll remain connected until the weekend if you stay consistent. Thank you for the update! I truly hope this resolves the issue for you. I personally use both controllers (7 disks) and have maintained stability for over a week, hoping for a smooth experience.

Yesterday I followed your advice and installed the ASMedia 106x SATA Driver Package. After that, the problem disappeared as well. If the system stays stable, I believe the issue was due to the driver—probably the Windows 11 built-in driver is faulty. I’ll let ASROCK know—they should definitely include the driver in their mainboard package!

If you came across this thread, it's likely your solution... Detailed Guide - [FIX] BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f) ASRock X670E Taichi motherboard via storahchi. Those of you who are reading this probably faced the daily BSOD issues with your ASRock X670E Taichi motherboard. I frequently use multiple SATA ports, and people like me encounter this DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f) problem through storahci more often than not. It took me a long time to gather this fix using trial and error and some... forums.

I'm happy to know I'm not alone with this issue!
After months of searching, I finally found a solution for the problem I encountered with a build from February.
I'm currently trying the fixes mentioned earlier, though I don't have the Taichi motherboard—my setup is an MSI MPG B650 Edge Wifi.
I've tried reseating and swapping RAM, changing the GPU power cable, and reinstalling Windows 11, but nothing has worked so far. I'm hoping these updates will help me too.
My system has several drives installed—two on the bottom ports, two on the side ports, and two NVME drives.
I'll keep an eye out to post again in a few days if this resolves my issue, otherwise I'll just wait and hope!

Confirmed after ten days of thorough testing, no longer experiencing BSODs. It appears the problem isn't limited to ASRock boards but also affects MSI for the same reason.
