Question about domains and proxies
Placing a proxy in front of a computer inside a domain can affect its communication with the domain controller, but it doesn’t necessarily cause the proxy to fail. The proxy typically handles DNS resolution on its own unless configured otherwise. You don’t generally need to pull DNS directly from the domain controller unless specific routing rules are in place.
The proxy server's DNS should point to the domain controllers or DNS server, ensuring proper connectivity and routing.
