Hey everyone, just got my first CS Go case and it’s an e-sports one. The main question is how to open it without buying keys. Thanks for the tip from Zach!

You must purchase a key to access it—there’s no alternative.

Opening cases often isn't worthwhile; you're likely to end up with low-quality skins.

It would cost less to purchase the skins rather than opening the cases.

Sell your stuff and make a quick profit. I’m buying low and trading on the CS GO lounge. I’ve sold everything I have and still have more than $70 in CS items.

The cases are a waste of time and Gaben is making huge profits from them. Don't waste your effort on them. Just sell them and you'll earn some money on the game you paid very little for. Case drops are few each week—probably around three, resetting on Wednesday midnight London time. I know the exact count but it could be three a week. I opened 20 cases, buying keys cost me about £30. The items were worth around £15, so I lost half of them. I guess I was lucky to get a £7 worth deagle skin.

Standard practice is to keep cases closed. It's not worthwhile. Usually, you end up with blue skins worth less than 20c. The only exceptions are streamers and YouTubers who produce overly excited case-opening videos.

Starting cases is essentially a chance game. Your odds of making money are extremely low. You should keep an eye on this. A player opened more than 2k cases and still didn’t break even, losing about $2000. Close call. Case drops aren’t certain—they can be removed, together with skins, up to four times each week. The schedule resets weekly at midnight Pacific time.

Keep the files closed. The other person spent about twenty dollars and received roughly one dollar fifty in skins.
