Hey everyone, I'm trying to understand how LLC influences the CPU vcore on my Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra board. I've set the vcore to 1.3v to get a stable 5ghz OC with LLC at turbo, which seems like the recommended setting for Gigabyte boards. However, CPUID HWMonitor shows my voltages averaging around 1.4v. I'm wondering if this means my CPU is actually running at a steady 1.4v thanks to LLC or if it's just the 1.3v I configured in BIOS. I also have a picture of the HWMonitor attached here.

Examine Vcore instead of VID. If hwmonitor isn't displaying it, use hwinfo64 and choose "sensors only" during setup.

Thank you! The Vcore is displaying around 1.29v-1.3v, and I want to confirm the VID voltages are secure. Should I proceed with running Prime95 to check for stability during the next overclock attempt?

It's mostly okay to skip VID.
Prime 95 works well for assessing thermals and initial stability.
