Question about CPU clock speeds and the HWMonitor display.
I've checked my Phenom ii x6 1055t clocked at 3.7ghz during earlier gaming sessions (FIFA 19). The CPUID HWMonitor showed some unusual readings, but overall the system was stable and running well. Power management is off and turbo boost is disabled, which usually prevents such fluctuations. It also logged an extremely low minimum clock even while playing. Is this a normal occurrence or something to be concerned about?

I chose to revisit my BIOS to investigate potential causes for the drop or increase in performance, since I was confident everything was correct. I discovered a Thermal Temp Control setting, which adjusts voltages and clock speeds. I turned it off and successfully increased my frequency from 13.5x to 14x, reaching 3.8ghz without issues. A thorough stability check confirmed everything was fine. CPUID HWMonitor also played a key role in identifying the last setting.
