I checked the Corsair RMX Series (2021) RM750x and wondered about its reliability. I was concerned whether the cables with in-cable capacitors might cause problems. Most other power supplies I’ve seen are either out of stock or too costly, so I’m considering the Corsair option, which is currently available at a reasonable price.

Tom’s review on this PSU caught my attention, and I wanted more insights. What are your thoughts?

RMX is a strong unit on the tier list in good condition.
I have utilized RMX and HX, HXI without any problems.
I have also been operating a CX750 and CX450 since 2016, consistently with no issues. (More affordable budget models for more economical systems).
Thanks

I bought the 750x last year partly due to Tom's review (excellent review, their PSU parts are among the best in the sector). It has performed reliably with no problems with the PSU. Voltages stay within normal ranges without fluctuation, and it operates quietly. The fan activates only when necessary, which also helps reduce the amount of pet hair it consumes. I would like the cables to be a bit more flexible and perhaps longer.

I also use it myself, excluding the stiff cables (mostly 24pin), it's definitely a great choice. Feel free to get one if you want a good value.

Thank you for your assistance, everyone! I really value the effort you put in. I placed an order for the Corsair PSU, which looks like a well-chosen option. And wishing everyone a joyful new year!
