Question about compatibility with RTX 5060 Ti graphics card.
Question about compatibility with RTX 5060 Ti graphics card.
Hi
I've been away from building PCs for a while, so sorry if this looks like a beginner's error. I recently attempted to upgrade my 1060 to a 5060 Ti and encountered some problems:
After finally getting it to recognize the new card, restarting seemed normal. When I turned off the system and it booted up, there was no display. Unfortunately, since my machine doesn<|pad|>, I replaced it with the 1060 and everything worked fine. I tried swapping again and still got no display, then managed to get one after a while.
I suspect the issue might be with the graphics card, possibly because it's quite old (around 5 years?).
If anyone has any advice, it would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
