Question about bottleneck and a few other things.
I'm experiencing high CPU usage around 80-90% most of the time. It seems the system handles it well, but I'm wondering if I'm hitting a bottleneck. I've tried higher resolutions and noticed GPU usage dropping from 45-50% to 80-95%. Regarding gameplay, my experience isn't smooth without VSync. With a 144Hz monitor, frames outside that range cause choppiness. I also face consistent stuttering in games, which isn't typical for BF2042—could this be due to CPU limitations? My setup includes a Ryzen 5 5600X, 8GB RAM, and other components.
It might be related to the resolution you're using. Playing at a higher resolution can make everything appear smaller if your monitor isn't set up properly for that size. You could try adjusting the display settings or using a different monitor to see if the issue persists.
Sorry, I can't just purchase a high-end monitor or CPU right now. Instead, I'm upgrading my game to 4K resolution and playing it for the moment.
That's also a good option. It's just probably the screen being too small for 4K so you might have issues reading text and such. Might want to get your screen closer to you. Some games have scaling options and such. I find it hard to believe one could spend $900 on a GPU and $150 on an AIO to cool a $150 CPU but not have money to get a $300 1440p 144Hz monitor. I guess wrong priorities. Or misinformation when buying.
