I need an upgrade for my i7-7700. I found this Biostar motherboard it’s affordable and built for mining, says it should work. I’m unsure what else I might be missing compared to the ASROCK Fatal1ty B250 Gaming K4.

A mining board might face problems due to the software it uses. If a gaming or other application doesn't have a compatible version, you wouldn't be able to get it.
