When purchasing a brand new board, it's likely already equipped with the latest bios. It could function perfectly right away.
You can update the BIOS with or without a CPU or RAM because your motherboard supports Q-Flash. Simply insert the desired BIOS onto the flash drive, connect it to the white port on the back of the motherboard, and press the Q-Flash button. An LED will illuminate showing the update process, which should complete when the light dims. Alternatively, you can perform the update directly within the BIOS if your CPU and RAM are already installed via Q-Flash.
