I increased the motherboard's speed with the Asus AI suite 3 automatically, without any manual BIOS adjustments.
My attempts included uninstalling the suite, resetting the CMOS by shorting pins, removing the battery and shorting pins.
After a fresh BIOS update (brand new), the overclock remained unchanged.
In the BIOS there are three options...remove all limits, enforce all limits, or allow the bios to optimize?
I tried each one, but the overclock still exists.

Checking the system's specifications and confirming the operating system details to verify the overclock status.

Prime Z490-A (LGA1200)
Intel Core i7-10700K CPU @ 3.80GHz (operates between 4.8 and 5.1, visible via core temp and software).
Memory configuration: Gskill Size 32670 MBytes
Two Corsair Force MP600 M.2 2280 2TB PCI-Express Gen 4.0 x4 NVMe drives
Windows 10 enterprise edition
GTX 2070, water cooled.

I reinstalled the AI suite 3 and adjusted the CPU speed to 4-4.5.
Despite this, every reboot causes the PC BIOS to settle at 4.8-5.1.
If updating the BIOS didn’t resolve the issue, the only remaining option is a full Windows reinstall.
I won’t proceed with that.
