I've recentyl bought an Asus TUF A16 FA608UM, everything worked fine, but recently the fans started to randomly going full RPM. It only happens when the PC isn't plugged in, working only on battery.
I've tried everything, reinstalling and updating drivers, updating the BIOS, tried different diagnostics in the BIOs and MyAsus app. Nothing changed. Contacted ASUS but got some [redacted] Ai-like response. Tried contacting them regarding my warranty, waiting for a response. Has anyone encountered something similar? Any info regarding a solution would be much appreciated
Edit: Just reinstalled windows, sadly nothing changed... (not a clean install)

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Asus TUF A16 FA608UM
Updating the BIOS
https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/for...in...me=FA608UM
Are you using BIOS version 307?
I've tried all options—reinstalling drivers, updating the BIOS, running diagnostics via BIOs and MyAsus app.
Now you're left with reinstalling your OS after creating a bootable USB and installing it offline, then manually adding drivers in elevated mode during offline setup. The only exception is avoiding Armory Crate to check if the problem continues without it (yes, many consider it bloatware).
It only occurs when the PC isn't connected, and it works on battery power.
Did you adjust the power management settings? Changed to Power Saver mode when using battery (in case it was set to Balanced)?
Start
type Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Power Options>

Yes, I'm using BIOS 307. I plan to reinstall Windows, in case that helps. The power mode remains set to balanced, and I haven't adjusted it.
