The Q77 platform has no overclocking capability, only Z77 is supported. B660 boards won't overclock, whereas Z690 boards can. You should upgrade to a Z77 or Z68 motherboard and update the BIOS if you have a 3rd gen Intel CPU paired with a 2nd gen Intel CPU.

This comparison isn't quite accurate because B660 supports overclocking when using the external clock generator. However, in general, you won't be able to boost performance on that specific board.

irrelevant, I don't need a CPU but the Q77 can adjust BCLK.
