I’m using an i9-9900K at 5GHz across all cores in my gaming PC. It’s running smoothly at 1.20 volts. I’m trying to lower the voltage further through undervolting, but there’s a concern—I’m using a hardware RAID-5 volume for the motherboard RAID controller. I’m worried about losing it if I have to reset the CMOS to fix an unstable overclock. The motherboard model is ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX/ac. Anyone have advice on this situation?
