Because the card is quite old, it's likely to be second hand, which makes the condition of the card more important than the brand for me. I'm not familiar with that brand, by the way. Where are you located? Also, please keep in mind that this card no longer gets driver support.
Thank you for the update. I'm based in Bangladesh. It looks like the brand comes from South Africa, though it's not a completely unknown name. There are some reputable local stores selling an RX 580 from a Chinese manufacturer called PELADN, which reportedly has around 2048 "cuda cores." These RX 580 models also seem to come with a two-year warranty. What confuses me is that if these cards are not meeting the expectations of an RX 580, then spending more than $50-60 would allow me to get an RX 6500 XT 4GB. I prefer the RX 580 because it's more affordable and I can use the extra money for something else.
From what I found online, it’s a genuine brand.
The 2048 shader count on the rx580 was designed with extra GPUs for cryptomining and runs a bit slower compared to the version with 2344 or similar.
Still, if it’s a new card with warranty, it should work fine, though it isn’t the quickest anymore.
