Question About Anker Powerhouse 90 Battery for Recharging Asus Laptop
I own an Anker Powerhouse 90 battery for charging my Asus laptop, which requires a round tip plug charger. Luckily, this Anker model has an AC outlet. The Asus charger is connected to the AC outlet and then to the laptop. What concerns me is that the Asus charger becomes warm when used in a standard wall socket. Is this normal? Could it indicate a compatibility issue? Should I connect an adapter before using the charger with the Anker?
Are you stating that you notice a difference on the charger when plugged straight utility as opposed to plugged to the battery?
YES
I need the Anker if I'm out of the office, the laptop battery runs low and I need to charge it and can't reach a wall outlet.
Could the extra warmth come from the surroundings when using that battery rather than the power grid? For example, in a hot vehicle or a sealed container?
