Yes, I received the alerts about two weeks prior (my first experience). They only lasted a couple of days before disappearing completely. I understand the uBlock Origin team is very active.

I utilize ABP and faced an initial problem with a pop-up requesting a whitelist. I dismissed it several times, but the alert persisted, urging me to disable or whitelist it.

I also use Adblock Plus and uBlockOrigin. At first, the fix worked for AdblockPlus, but it seems to have stopped functioning, possibly because uBlockOrigin took control. The lack of uses now is attributed to uBlockOrigin resolving the issue.

There is no option to completely disable uBlock without removing it.

you should be able to turn off the add-on in the settings or disable it specifically for that site.
based on what I understand, YouTube is beginning to restrict users who use adblock, which could lead to more problems even after switching add-ons.
they are enforcing restrictions globally, so keep this in mind if you keep facing issues.

As others mentioned, Ublock Origin is performing excellently. I've needed to update it a couple of times (especially on Chrome), but overall it's been stable so far.
