For testing in a virtual environment, obtain the latest Freya Beta 1 version (LINK). If you intend to dual-boot, either wait for Freya's release or install Luna.

Time will reveal the truth. I’m holding off on a final release to compare with Luna, and I’ll be back to dual boot again. So far, Beta 1 seems encouraging. I’ve also translated some Polish sections into it.

haha Here's to hoping! Out of all the Ubuntu-based distros I tried before eOS, Xubuntu 13.04 was the fastest on my netbook. I thought eOS would be a ton slower, but it's as fast, if not faster (certainly faster in boot/shutdown times).
