Hello, I hope this message comes across clearly. A year ago I purchased MW2 and MW3, spent a lot of time on multiplayer, and got into some hacking. It was one of the biggest errors I made. I’m really sorry, but if I buy MW2 and MW3 again on another Steam account, can I get back into multiplayer? I just want to play these games once more and don’t know if it’s an IP ban or just my account status. Thank you for your reply.

I’d look at Battlefield 3 or Hardline. COD isn’t suitable for kids, it’s not worth purchasing. Edit: A fresh account should work just fine.

It doesn't address his concern. You seem okay. Those games are blocked if I'm right, so playing on another account should be safe. Avoid trying to rejoin your old account—Valve won't remove VAC restrictions.
