Question 5070ti or 5080 or wait for the Super Series?

a few months ago I assembled a 9800x3d system with a 1000W power supply. Right now I’m running it alongside my older 2080 graphics card.
Croatia GPU prices are:
5080 – between 1070 and 850 euros
5070ti – around 850 euros
I’m uncertain whether to choose the 5070ti or the 5080, since I don’t plan to upgrade for at least four years. The 5070ti seems insufficient compared to the 1000W PSU, while the 5080 with only 16GB of VRAM doesn’t seem justified either.
On the other hand, I feel like I’m missing out on the full performance of my 9800x3d setup if I opt for the 5070ti.
If I wait for the next generation, I might have to wait another six months before prices stabilize. Anyone know how long it typically takes for a 30 Super and 40 Super series model to drop to MSRP after release?
As for the games, if I were playing BF6 I’d need around 240 FPS at low to medium settings with 1440p. I’m not sure how that would translate to other titles or benchmark values, but it’s clear what I’m thinking.
If you wait until early to mid 2026, then pursuing the Super makes sense though be cautious as you won't receive them at the MSRP. Considering your location, the price of a Super could exceed its value (until opinions change) and its availability might be limited when it first launches.
