It seems you might need some third-party tools. I’m not very comfortable with Macs, but I think the background GIF could be a distraction.

Windows yes, Mac too... sorry... not sure. Maybe someone can assist more. I used to have a binary animated wallpaper on Windows, it got outdated after a week. Lol. Now I'm using Rainmeter skins instead.
